ABN: Holland hotspot global software market

Computable has pubishled an article where market research shows that Dutch software companies outperform the rest of the business. The main driver of this growth are the growing importance of software in the society and the strong emergence of cloud computing.

According to ABN AMRO, the growth opportunities of cloud computing continue to be promissing in the coming years. ‘Thanks to the SaaS business model, new markets open up, both abroad and in new business segments such as SMEs. This will improve the export of Dutch software companies.” The bank stressed that between 2010 and 2014, exports have doubled from 1.5 to 3.1 billion euros.
