Majority shareholder Main Capital expands leading business combination in the field of Facility Management and Real Estate software in the Benelux through Axxerion.
Heteren, 18 September 2018
Axxerion, a specialized cloud Facility and Property management software vendor located in Heteren, joins forces with the Apeldoorn-based Plandatis. Olaf Zernitz, CEO of Plandatis, will stay involved and will join the management team of Axxerion. Through the business combination, a solid company is formed with over 100 employees and a broad product offering.
Plandatis is supplier of a software suite in the field of technical information- & maintenance management, risk & compliance solutions for real estate and energy label certification. With the software of Plandatis, customers have control over their maintenance obligation and budgets through Long-Term Maintenance Plans (LTMP). The software furthermore supports the efficient management of real estate, installations and infrastructure. Over 1.200 construction- & installation companies, housing corporations and (semi-) governmental institutions currently work with the software products of Plandatis.
The products and services of Axxerion and Plandatis connect seamlessly. The combination actively capitalizes on the trend where the Facility Management- and Real Estate Management software markets move closer together and vendors increasingly offer an all-inclusive solution for both markets.
Cooperation Plandatis – Axxerion
Herman de Jonge (CEO of Axxerion): “Axxerion has built a strong position in the FMIS- and Real Estate market over the past 14 years. We are enthusiastic about the cooperation with Plandatis and look forward to developing our products and services together”.
Pieter van Bodegraven (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Axxerion): “Under the direction of Main Capital Partners, Axxerion follows a strategy to further expand internationally through partners, expand the product offering in the FMIS and Real Estate market and execute specific add-on acquisitions. Plandatis with its broad product offering in real estate management has a seamless fit with this strategy.
Olaf Zernitz (CEO of Plandatis): “Plandatis has experienced strong (inter)national growth in the development, sales and implementation of its products. Through the combination with Axxerion, we are able to strengthen- and further expand our market position. We look forward to the future and the unique possibilities to offer O-prognose to the market in the form of an integrated solution with Axxerion, as well as a standalone product”.
Main Capital invested in Axxerion in 2016 and actively supports the group with the further expansion of the business in the coming years, both in the form of organic growth as well as through expansion of the international partner channel and continuing the buy-and-build strategy.
