Stockholm, June 17th, 2021 – Alfa eCare, a recognized eHealth software group servicing public and private care providers throughout Sweden, has reached an agreement to acquire Clinicbuddy, a modern provider of electronic health record solutions for private care institutions.
Clinicbuddy, a Stockholm based company, was founded back in 2006. Clinicbuddy provides a comprehensive suite of SaaS solutions servicing around 500 clients with a strong foothold in the private healthcare market. The company has seen an organic ARR growth rate of more than 45% over the last 3 years leveraging its scalable platform. With a high level of flexibility and the modular set-up of the system the company has successfully expanded internationally and today serves clients in nine countries. The product suite is centered around journaling, financial administration and bookings tailored for clients ranging from rehabilitation, specialized surgery, and mental healthcare providers.
The strategic combination of two strong and complementary product offerings further strengthens Alfa eCare as a leading SaaS eHealth player in the Swedish market. This step creates a unique combination of services with solutions ranging from information systems, planning, and journaling to financial management and booking administration for care providers. The joint offering will enable the group to further support the digitization of the healthcare sector as it increases efficiency and streamlines operations for care providers, ensuring a strong position for future value-add to clients and joint growth.
Alfa has an organic growth strategy complemented with smart strategic acquisitions focused on creating a leading player in the Nordic care market.
