Hengelo, 31 August – T&T, the market leader in software for real-time integration with basic registers for Dutch (semi-)government organizations, joins Exxellence Groep, majority participation of Main Capital. After the acquisition of Zaaksysteem.nl in May this year, the acquisition is the second step in the buy-and-build strategy to form strategic combinations with leading companies in the (semi-)government market, in order to improve the product offering and added value for (semi-)public customers and to provide a sustainable counterbalance to the larger players in the market.
About T&T
T&T COMPET&T (T&T) was founded in 1976 and is located in Eindhoven. The company serves more than 350 clients throughout the Netherlands with target group of pension funds, municipalities and other (semi-)public organizations. As a result, Exxellence Groep and T&T serve a significant part of the (semi-)government market with and extensive product range. Examples of T&T customers are the UWV, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, APG, the Social Insurance Bank and the municipality of Rotterdam.
The core business of T&T is connecting customers in real-time with the basic registers such as the Personal Records Database, the Trade Register, the Basic Registration Addresses Buildings and the pension register. The most important part of T&T business is formed by the Personal Records Database: T&T provides approximately 500 Personal Records Database connections for customers who jointly track more than 170 million people and carry out more than 32 million queries per year. The T&T software is supplied as a SaaS application. Due to the sensitivity of the data and the close interdependence with the customer’s business-critical systems, high demands are placed on the safety, availability and reliability of T&T solutions. The company is the absolute market leader in the field.
Collaboration T&T – Exxellence Groep
Together, T&T and Exxellence Groep have more than 500 customers and serve most of the Dutch municipalities and (semi-)public organizations throughout the Netherlands. With the acquisition of T&T, Exxellence Groep and Main Capital are taking a big step in expanding the product portfolio and in doing so optimize the added value for customers. After laying a solid foundation with Zaaksysteem.nl, the acquisition of T&T is a very strategic second step, focusing on the integration layer of the government software landscape. Supported by Main Capital, the combined company will continue to explore further strategic combinations with software product providers in the government market. The group’s ambition is to grow into a leading provider of software solutions and related services within the (semi-)government market in order to expand the product range and added value towards customers and to provide a sustainable alternative to the larger players in the market. Main elaborates on the experience gained in this market with former portfolio company Roxit. The organizations will strengthen each other on a functional level whereby outstanding service provision for the customer is the starting point.
