HENGELO – Zaaksysteem.nl, software specialist in the field of case management for Dutch government organizations, joins forces with Exxellence Groep, portfolio company of Main Capital. The acquisition is the first step in the buy-and-build strategy to form strategic combinations with strong entrepreneurs in the government market to strengthen the product offering and added value to public customers and provide a sustainable and innovative alternative to the larger players in the market. Open source policies among customers and the current Common Ground trend are the driving forces behind the new combination.
Zaaksysteem.nl was founded in 2009 and is located in Amsterdam. The company has over 30 employees and serves more than 50 customers throughout the Netherlands, with small and medium-sized municipalities being the main target group. This differs from Exxellence Groep, which mainly serves larger municipalities and other public bodies. Zaaksysteem.nl enables its customers to work in a case-oriented way, through its own management system, as well as by providing a broader offering through delivering specific functionalities through partnerships.
