As part of the Company’s internationalization strategy, RVC targets adjacent countries with highly advanced healthcare systems. The company entered the Belgian market in 2016 autonomously and in 2018 Main supported RVC in its acquisition of Germany based Allgeier Medical IT (AMIT), now renamed RVC Medical IT GmbH.
Joost van Geijn (CEO of RVC Medical IT): “Main Capital supported us in strengthening our position as a leader in the Healthcare Enterprise Imaging software market and our expansion into the Benelux and DACH region. Becoming part of Nexus AG will offer many opportunities for further developing our solutions and bringing these solutions to both existing and new customers.”
Sven van Berge Henegouwen (Chairman Supervisory Board and Partner at Main Capital): “In recent years, RVC has established a strong position in the healthcare market. We see a strong strategic fit between both companies. Especially for the existing customers of RVC, we believe this step is beneficial as more resources and scalability can be provided.”
Ingo Behrendt (CEO of Nexus AG): “The combination of both companies will ensure to open other European market for RVC’s products where Nexus already has a strong presence. With over 1.300 employees, specialized in healthcare IT, Nexus will also provide technical and medical know-how in order to further enhance the product suite and services of RVC.”
Main Capital invested in RVC in 2014 and focused on autonomous growth in the Netherlands, international expansion, and the improvement of the recurring revenue profile. In addition, Main supported RVC with the add-on acquisition of Allgeier Medical IT in 2018. The successful strategic partnership with RVC has further enhanced Main Capital’s experience in the healthcare software market.
