The combination results in a market leader in the field of APM and ITOA software in Northern Europe

Ymor, the leading Dutch-based supplier of innovative Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and IT Operations Analytics (ITOA) solutions, has acquired 100% of Denmark-based Avenida ApS, as part of its internationalization strategy.

With this strategic step a market leading company in the field of SaaS-based APM and ITOA software with geographic footprint in The Benelux, Nordics and DACH-region emerges. Their similar approach, comparable customers and shared vision on APM makes the two companies a natural match. The combined company has over 100 employees and around 200 customers. Main Capital was actively involved in enabling this growth strategy.

From a product perspective, Ymor’s end-to-end monitoring solution Ymonitor offers new possibilities to Avenida and its customers. Vice versa Avenida’s proprietary P-Mon software adds powerful root-cause analysis, anomaly detection and network system monitoring to Ymor’s offering. In addition, the companies together hold specialist knowledge of ‘best-of-breed’ products such as AppDynamics, ExtraHop, Nexthink and Dynatrace. Avenida’s has a fast-growing customer base consisting of major Danish and international corporates.

Martin van den Berge, CEO Ymor: “With this step we are able to position Ymonitor in the Nordics and further develop point-solutions such as ‘Ymonitor for Office365’. We have found that companies in the Nordics have similar ways of working including comprehensive service provision, which has led to acquiring a partner in this region. Ymor and Avenida share the ambition of helping as many organizations as possible in optimizing their IT. I am therefore proud to add Avenida to the Ymor brand. I look forward to further strengthening our position in the field of application performance management!”

Pieter van Bodegraven, Partner at Main Capital Partners and Member of the Supervisory Board of Ymor and Avenida: “With this acquisition, we have taken an important step in our international expansion strategy. The combination creates a market leading APM-player in Northern Europe, with both companies benefiting from a wider range of technical products and strong upsell opportunities.”
